CPTG - What does that really mean?

One of the reasons many people trust dōTERRA oils is the company's strong focus on quality and testing.

You may have seen the term CPTG Certified Pure Tested Grade®. This standard was created by dōTERRA to ensure that every oil is carefully tested for purity, potency, and quality.
Essential oils aren't regulated by a universal quality authority, which means each company is responsible for verifying the purity of its own products. dōTERRA addresses this by using a multi-step testing process that evaluates every batch of oil before it ever reaches a bottle.

These tests are performed both internally and by independent third-party laboratories, helping confirm that the oil contains the correct chemical profile and is free from contaminants or adulteration.

If an oil doesn't meet the required standards, it simply isn't released.

Another part of this transparency is the Quality ID number we talked about in an earlier post, found on every bottle. By entering that number online, you can view the testing results for the exact batch of oil you're using.

It's one more way dōTERRA invites transparency into your home.

The words CERTIFIED PURE TESTED grade are displayed above smaller text explaining more about how CPTG works.
